Coushatta announces new contract with Bally Technologies

Coushatta Casino Resort signed a brand new contract with Bally Technologies Inc. earlier this week. According to the terms of the deal, the company will be using Bally's ACSC Version 11 slot marketing, monitoring and accounting facility. The announcement puts an end to what proved to be a tough decision making process in move which took months to finalize.

The high profile contract will unite two of the leading lights of the gaming industry. Bally Technologies represents one of the major suppliers of casino technology specialising in slots and management systems for an international market. Coushatta Casino Resort, located in Kinder, Louisiana already boasts over 2,850 slot games plus a wealth of other amenities. The deal will also add Bally's Power Bonusing, eTICKET and over 2,800 iVIEW player interface displays to Coushatta's already extensive services.

The installation, said to be on track for completion by the end of the current year, has been met with a great deal of excitement from both sides. Conrad J. Granito, General Manager for Coushatta, said that the decision to switch providers was a "very difficult one." He praised Bally and said that it offered "the best and most well-defined road map, the most customer driven features, and by far the gaming industry's strongest commitment to the systems business.

He spoke of Bally's strong history of "prompt, caring and reliable customer support". Ramesh Srinivasan, Executive Vice President at Bally, said that the company is "absolutely committed to providing Coushatta with a well-planned and seamless systems install experience." He added that the company is in a position to provide "the industry's most reliable, secure and high availability system solution.
