Fans of the arcade games will be pleased to hear that Playtech, the leading online gaming software developer has released two new titles to its already extensive repertoire.
Medusa's Gaze is based on the Greek legend Medusa, whose piercing gaze was said to turn men into stone. Fortunately in this game, Medusa uses her gaze to actually assist gamers and hopefully bring them good luck.
The games starts with Medusa sat in the centre of a circle. Four circular sections revolve independently around her and eight radial sections make up the 12 pay-lines. Each section contains a tile of a different colour and the aim of the game is for the player to get between 3 and 8 of the tiles of a matching colour on the same pay-line.
Each of the colours holds different values, thereby varying the size of the potential payout. The white tile acts as the wild and can be substituted for any other colour. If a player earns a payout, Medusa will turn the successful matching tiles into stone before they crumble and vanish. The remaining tiles will them fall down into the centre to fill the empty spaces and after every fall, the multiplier increases by one.
Wheel of the Light is the second new Playtech arcade release and some players may recognize its similarity to an earlier game called Spin A Win. Players are invited to bet on a wheel with numbers between 0 and 30, by placing bets on the exact number they think will be chosen, which one of the four coloured sections will be chosen and which one of the five number sections will be chosen.
Both games are available to play now at a wide range of Playtech casinos.
