Qualifiers for Grand Slam of Slots II

From May 27th till June 6th MicroGaming will be hosting an online slots tournament entitled the Grand Slam of Slots II (GSOS II), on the game Thunderstruck. Players can get free entry to the tournament by playing in the qualifiers which are being held through any MicroGaming powered online casino till the beginning date.

These qualifiers are also being held at All Slots and there are two different types; a free roll or with an entry fee. With the free roll the prize pool is $400 and two seats are available for the GSOS II. These seats are worth $200 each.

The structure of these qualifiers is similar to other tournaments run at All Slots, where there is 6 minutes of playing time and each player starts with 10,000 coins, available on games such as Spring Break and Tomb Raider. There is the option of using Continue Play five times, at the cost of $5 each, giving the player an extra 9,000 coins and 5 minutes of playing time. Alternatively there is the Rebuy option which gives the original 10,000 coins and 6 minutes over.

The qualifiers cost only $5 to enter, the prize pool is $3,000 and the top 15 people will get entry into the GSOS II. Additionally, there are single round online tournaments as opposed to the 6 day version which offer more seats. With only 15 minutes of playing time, players have 16,000 coins at their disposal, as well as the 5 Continue Play options and 10 Rebuy options at $5 each. The former gives players 8,000 chips and the latter 16,000. Two of the available games for this are Avalon and Loaded.
