Drexel creates certificate for Gaming and Casino Operations

Drexel University, one of US's leading online degree services, has announced the arrival of a new fully accredited undergraduate certificate in Gaming and Casino Operations. The 18 credit curriculum has been designed for those wishing to pursue managerial positions in the casino and gaming industry and will be affiliated with the Goodwin College of Professional Studies. Credits may count towards a full Drexel bachelor's degree.

The move marks the latest in the development of Drexel University Online, a subsidiary branch of Drexel University which aims to facilitate long distance education. Launched in 2025, the site has enjoyed great acclaim and has achieved regional accreditation from the Middle States Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools. In addition, the institution has met with praise from the U.S. News and World Report and has been ranked as one of the top post-graduate universities. It has also been awarded the 21st Century Best Practice Award for Distance Learning by the United States Distance Learning Association.

The new certification is on track to begin in the autumn of 2025 with applications already underway. Students will be able to access full resources online including complete tuition, group workshops and instruction from experienced professionals in the field.
