Lucky winner bags $200k cash jackpot payout at winaday

With a name like winaday, you'd be right in thinking this online gaming site is going to consistently produce winners. You'd probably not expect to win a life changing amount, however, which is what happened to one lucky winner who was "killing time".

Film student 'Lucky Tom' was playing the online poker machine at winaday when he hit the jackpot, netting himself a staggering $200,859 in cash. He said, "I was just killing time and taking my mind off my studies for a bit when suddenly out of the blue I hit the big one."

Lucky Tom was playing the popular Jack's Show video poker game which features animated jesters merrily cavorting across the screen, dealing cards and performing special tricks for winning hands. The aim of the game is to get the best poker hand possible with fellow players able to wager on each hand.
When asked how he would spend his surprise win, Lucky Tom said, "I'll probably blow some of this win on some party celebrations but I'm going to invest most of it in a film project I've wanted to do for a long time."
Whilst this amount is certainly huge, it's not the highest jackpot paid out on WinADay. That honour goes to the $223,420 that was paid out in March, via the Reel De Luxe slot, significantly more than the $100,000-$150,000 jackpots that are normally won.
