Following the shock of the 8.9 earthquake in Japan and the subsequent tsunami, Maple Casino has generously offered a substantial donation to the victims. Thousands of people in Japan have lost their lives in this double natural disaster, leaving thousands more in need of medical attention and aid of other forms. Charlotte Jackson, the Maple Casino manager spoke of her shock at the news, "There is untold horror, pain and suffering with immense loss in a multitude of facets that the Japanese people now have to deal with".
