Retro Reel Extreme Heat Launched by Microgaming

Online gaming company Microgaming is bringing out the third slot game in its popular Retro Reels series, entitled Retro Reels Extreme Heat, a 30 payline game. Following the success of the original, this game too, has the classic style of the 3 reel slot in a 5 reel format, enhanced by reels set on fire and burning symbols.

The symbols themselves are from the 3 reel slots, where the 7, Double 7 and Triple 7 each lead to a 500 coin payout when the same symbol is spun on a payline. The same is true of the symbols Bar, Double Bar and Triple Bar, which pay 250 coins, with a lower payout for a mix between the two sets of symbols.

There are a few other symbols to keep an eye out for; the wild symbol and the scatter symbol. The wild is the flaming Dollar sign which pays out 10,000 coins when 5 appear together. The scatter symbol is the Free Spins Bonus, which gives players a payout multiplied by their wager when 2 or more appear.

The fun continues, as with 3 or more of the scatter symbols, there is a bonus round, where in this round 3 symbols equal 10 free spins, 4 symbols give 15 free spins and 5 symbols pay out 20 free spins. With these spins, the payout is always doubled, with a maximum payout of 440,000 coins.

An additional feature is the Respin option, which allows the player to respin one specific reel and then wins whatever involved that specific reel. This feature isn't available in the free rounds, however it does add some excitement to this game of chances.
