The wait pays off for Slotland Jackpot winner

The wait is finally over for players who've been watching with baited breath as the progressive jackpot at one of Slotland's most popular games, The Golden 8 grew bigger and bigger. One lucky player known as YUKON has hit the big one and walked away with $163,476 in cash.

The last time the game produced a win this big was actually back in February, so the appearance of Jackpot! on the screen has been long overdue. Whilst the progressive jackpot is normally won by the time it reaches $150,000, the player hung on for a few more days to end up with a little bit more cash in his pocket.

When asked what he was going to do with his winnings YUKON advised that after clearing all his debts he'd still have plenty of cash left over to splash out on somewhere hot and sunny, no doubt to ward off the rapidly approaching winter! He's only just come to terms with winning such a massive amount, and has admitted it was difficult for the information to sink in:
"I honestly never really expected something like this to happen to me!" he said. "Even when I saw it on my screen I could hardly believe it! It wasn't until the Customer Service Rep at Slotland contacted me that I started to accept that it was true and start making plans for my dream holiday!"
