Revenues for Bwin are Climbing Steadily

Bwin is an online gaming company that has had great success financially in recent years, which it proved when it announced that revenues were up 15.2% to €514.6 million in the previous year. This correlates to ₤446 million and $723 million, which is a huge amount of money in any currency.

Part of the reason for this success is the variety which they offer, including sports betting, casino games and poker. Their 20 million customers enjoy this diversity in over 25 core markets. With all these customers, it is no surprise that as of the last financial quarter, Bwin was one of the leading poker operators in France and among the top 3 in Italy.

The next exciting move in the works for this company is its upcoming merger, with the equally successful online company, Partygaming. The merger is scheduled to be complete as of April this year. By joining forces, PartyGaming and Bwin will be forming one of the largest online gaming companies across the globe, which makes their potential seemingly endless.

Apart from this merger, Bwin has other interests outside the realm of online betting, one of which is Real Madrid, a football club in Spain. Bwin sponsors this club and has said that it is interested in continuing with this type of relationship with other institutions.

A spokesman said that "Bwin's brand has become synonymous with sport through its sponsorship of some of the world's biggest names in sport, such as Real Madrid and Bayern Munich."

They continued saying, "Its long-standing co-operation with soccer clubs like these and the Italian and Portuguese soccer leagues testify to the company's continuing commitment to top soccer."
